SetReady scans your location, knows your gear, and lays out your whole interview setup in minutes. Chair, cameras, key, fill and back light, with distances, heights and power levels.
Built by a working documentary DP. For iPhone Pro models with LiDAR.
You get 15 minutes to walk an unfamiliar room, pick the angle, and build three-point lighting before the CEO sits down.
Every location is different. The window is in the wrong place. The ceiling is low. The only clean background is behind a desk. And you are doing the math in your head while the client watches.
Lighting diagram apps make you drag icons around a blank grid. Previs tools are built for feature films. Nothing on your phone looks at the actual room, checks the actual gear in your cases, and tells you where everything goes.
SetReady does.
Five steps. Most of them take seconds.
Walk the space with your iPhone Pro. SetReady maps walls, windows, doors and furniture in about a minute.
Mark the windows, practical lamps and the background wall you want behind your subject.
Pick your saved gear profile: cameras, lights and modifiers. Set it up once, use it on every job.
Chair, cameras, key, fill and back light placed for you, with 2 or 3 alternatives to choose from.
See floor marks for every stand and tripod through your camera, plus a lit stand-in subject.
Built on Apple's LiDAR room scanning. Accurate walls, windows and furniture without a tape measure.
Every light gets a position, stand height and output level based on your fixtures and modifiers.
A-cam and B-cam placement with lens and distance, so your angles cut together cleanly.
Not sold on the first option? Flip through 2 or 3 other setups that work in the same room.
Hold up your phone and see exactly where each stand, tripod and the chair go. Your crew can follow along.
Export a one-page lighting diagram and gear checklist. Every location is saved for the next shoot.
Most planning tools hand you a generic softbox and wish you luck. SetReady starts from your kit, so the layout it gives you is one you can build today with the gear on your cart.
Launching with popular cinema cameras and LED fixtures, with more added based on what early users shoot with.
Hand it to your gaffer, drop it in the shoot folder, or keep it for when the client books the same room next quarter.

You are the DP, gaffer and grip. SetReady is the second set of hands that already did the planning.
Send a junior shooter to a location with a plan that matches your house look, every time.
Back-to-back interviews in rooms you have never seen. Walk in, scan, set, roll.
We are building the first version now. Join the list for beta invites and founding-user pricing, and tell us what's in your kit so we support it at launch.
Room scanning uses the LiDAR scanner, which is on iPhone Pro and Pro Max models from the iPhone 12 Pro onward, and on recent iPad Pro models.
Not in the first version. You get an accurate layout, AR floor marks and a lit virtual stand-in through your lens. We are focusing on getting placement right before adding full room relighting.
Version one is built for seated interviews with one or two cameras, because that is where planning time hurts most. More setups are on the roadmap, and early users help decide the order.
Tell us what you shoot with when you join the list. We are adding fixtures and cameras based on what early users actually own.
We will announce dates and pricing to the early access list first. People on the list get founding-user pricing.
